Standard vision panels will suit doors from 32 45mm in thickness. We offer two standard beading options either internal or external please note glass is not provided and the design is able to incorporate safety glass compliant with nzs 4223 3. All provide fd60 rating. Our standard vision panels can be fire rated in association with the standard bead details shown below.

These include a hardware bolection bead flush bead and steel trim option. Door leaves and side panels that are in excess of 450mm wide must be provided with viewing panels giving a zone of visibility between 500mm and 1500mm from floor level as illustrated below. The 2012 ibc model building code contains size limits for vision panels in a 60 or 90 minute door. Hardwood beads can be finished to match the door facing and are generally pin fixed punched and filled. Screw fixing can be accommodated also. We offer 3 types of glazing bead which can be chosen to suit the requirements of the project. Glazed vision panels are offered under the ifc certification scheme. Our custom panels can accommodate any glass up to 6 5mm to fit into this framing.

Our standard single glazed vision panels are all made with 6 38mm laminate. The vision panel may be a single panel or may be interrupted between 800mm and 1150mm to accommodate a horizontal mid rail if necessary.
